Sci AM-Evolution/Creation Debate

From the moment men first began to contemplate their world, three questions have occupied the human mind: Where do we come from? What are we? Where are we going? Artists (notably Paul Gauguin), religious thinkers, philosophers and, most recently, scientists have all searched for answers. This book describes molecular evidence for human descent from the first single-celled organisms all the way to the emergence of Homo sapiens. After distinguishing myth from science, the authors introduce molecular evolution and the molecular approach to the study of human origins and draw conclusions about human identity.

I will be by my computer from 7:30 to 8:00 am. If you have any questions, email me.
This test will be on the computer in the comfort of your home for 3 hours
Go to Blackboard and log into our class NS 100.

Instruct your students not to take or "preview" the quiz until they are actually ready to take it. If the students "preview" the quiz or begin taking the quiz and then log out (manually or by quitting out of the browser) Blackboard will not let them back in to take or finish the quiz. The students will receive a "Sorry… you already took this assessment on (date) and (time)" message.
NOTE: If a student resizes the window (Netscape browsers) the assessment will stop and no score will be recorded. In the Online Gradebook you will receive an "Incomplete Attempt" message for that student. We recommend that students take quizzes using Internet Explorer to eliminate this problem. When using essay questions in your quiz, we recommend that students write their essays in a word processing program and copy and paste them into Blackboard. This way, if the individual computer crashes, or there are problems with the server, the students work would not be entirely lost.
