THE WAR BETWEEN THE WORLDS

The year is 2238. In a school district far far away, the Santana High Region of the Galactic Federation, there is a War between the Worlds! Tensions are high between the two great empires; the scabbling Student rebels and the fearless Faculty. Recently, there have been intelligence reports from High Commander Riggins of student rebel infiltration into the faculty parking quadrant. The Student High Council has said that it will “look into the matter”. Acting Admiral Halterman has given the assignment to Captain Fred to intercept and detain any student rebel that penetrates beyond the intergalactic lunchlines.
While at Custodial Outpost Alpha, Fred's Cart sensors pick up a punk skateboarder headed from the Neutral Zone to the Faculty Parking quadrant. Captain Fred sets a course for the punk skateboarder and engages at maximum warp speed. The best he is able to do is (warp) _____ c wrt the Outpost Alpha. The marauding punk skateboarder's sensors pick up the approaching Cart and begin to leave Faculty space at (warp) _____ c wrt the Outpost Alpha. Robocop Tom tells Captain Fred that they are in range to fire a disabling Photon referral. This deadly referral travels at (warp) ______ c wrt Fred's Cart. Will the Photon Referral stop the punk skateboarder incursion?

use this equation

Draw a Diagram. (Colorful, Unique, and Imaginative)

1) From the information given in the description, how would you know if the deadly Referral could
catch the punk Skateboarding Rebels?

2) Explain how you used symmetry in this problem. How did this help you? What
was the Physical reason behind your logic?

3) Will you explain how Einstein’s fudge factor keeps the speed of any mass from
going above c ?
